American Aquarium is putting in the work, digging in the dirt, and replanting their Southern roots. With their bravest and most incisive work to date, the Raleigh-based alternative country band is trekking across the United States as part of the "Fear of Standing Still" US Tour. One of their stops will take place at the intimate Waiting Room Lounge on October 6, 2024.

Fresh from their successful shows in US and UK, the band has announced an extensive "Fear of Standing Still" Tour in support of their album of the same name. The newest and 10th record, produced by Shooter Jennings, holds pointed, propulsive, but also gentle and ruminative musings of B.J. Barham and his long-running alt-country band. American Aquarium will take the stage like musical warriors, brandishing swords in the form of barn burner rock songs like "Crier," and "Head Down, Feet Moving." You can also expect graceful echo-laden guitars and dreamy keyboard as the band performs "Cherokee Purple" and "Southern Roots" live.
